This morning I observed that the ratio of men to women is a bit more drastic than I thought down in the financial district. I walked to work via Jackson instead of Van Buren this morning and I think that was part of why I noticed the difference. It's not so much the under 35-40 crowd, it's the over 35-40 crowd. All of the over 40 people I saw were men...mind you there were a few women here and there, but mostly everyone I saw who appeared to be over 40 was male.
Is this because I am in the financial district or is the ratio truly that overwhelming currently? I also found it interesting that all the the under 40 were in jeans (for the most part) and all of the over 40 were in suits...generation gap indeed.
Thoughts?
